Why are these cars cheaper?
Because we own our fleet outright, we can price individual cars on their merits rather than working off a finance house’s sheet. When a manufacturer updates or replaces a model, or when we simply have more of something than we need, that saving goes to whoever books the car first.
It is the same vehicle, prepared the same way, with the same service behind it. You are just catching it at a good moment.

Which cars are on special at the moment?
The list changes as cars go out, so the live page is always the accurate answer. You will usually find a good spread — hatchbacks, family cars, SUVs and the occasional bakkie — across a range of monthly amounts.

Is the deal any different from a normal rental?
No. Same agreement, same inclusions, same 3,000 km a month, and the same approval process based on what you can afford rather than a credit score. You can buy the car at the end of the term, return it, or cancel. The rental contract is signed in person at our Randburg showroom, and we deliver countrywide.
How quickly do specials go?
Quickly, and that is the honest answer. We run one branch and a real fleet, so when a car is taken it comes off the list that day. If something has caught your eye, phone 010 500 8621 and we will tell you straight away whether it is still available.
Frequently asked questions
Are specials older or high-mileage cars? Mostly current or recent model years with delivery mileage. Every listing shows the year and the kilometres, so you are never guessing.
Is anything stripped out to make the price look better? No. Insurance, servicing, tyres, tracking and roadside assistance are all still in. That is the whole point of how we price.
Do I need a deposit? No deposit on any MadRent vehicle. A once-off, non-refundable start-up fee applies before delivery, from about R20,000 and averaging around R30,000 depending on the car.
Will you check my credit score? We look at affordability and stability. Blacklisted, impaired-credit and debt-review applicants are approved regularly.
